Raffles Jakarta students were invited for movie premiere of "Knight Kris".
Raffles Jakarta students were invited by Mr. Ridwan (co-producer) from Viva Fantasia for an exclusive preview and movie premiere of “Knight Kris” in XXI Epicentrum. It was an exhilarating experience for all patrons who attended, and a fantastic job well done involving a team of ten cinematic professionals.
After the movie screening, Mr. Ridwan and his team shared their stories on how it took three years to develop the movie from scratch, and then generously provided more time for our students by welcoming a Q&A session which also provided important feedback regarding the movie. It was a fantastic experience for all students and a vital learning opportunity to directly engage with the film industry experts who made the movie. The Q&A session proved to very constructive for our students, as it assisted in providing valuable first-hand information on the production processes and the film making industry.
Viva Fantasia is already in discussion with Mr. Lee, (program coordinator for Visual Communication and Digital Media Design) in strengthening ties to provide opportunities for Raffles students to be part of their growing team of professionals. Deddy Corbuzier (pictured) was present during the event and shared a selfie moment with our students.
The close ties between Raffles Jakarta and Viva Fantasia is just one of our industrial partnerships that allows students to engage with industry professionals and further contribute to the rapidly expanding design industry in Indonesia.
