Raffles and L'Oreal join strength for exclusive product launching
Jakarta – Raffles Jakarta was invited to participate in the launching of the new L’Oréal Indonesia Biolage Matrix’s line as part of our exclusive partnership with the beauty-industry leader.
The event was held at the Hotel Manhattan, in the heart of Jakarta, on the 7th of October 2015, and served as the grand unveiling of the new Biolage Matrix line. The fashion and hair show was attended by a selected crowd from professional of the hair care and salon industries. The given theme for the fashion show was about purity and it was echoed in the design of the Raffles Jakarta Fashion Designers, Annabella Yosephine and Patricia Sunanto. Annabella’s creations were inspired by swans as it symbolizes grace and beauty, and is usually associated with love, music and poetry. As a water bird, it is also connected with emotions. “Swans can help you with seeing the inner beauty in yourself and others, developing your intuition, accepting transformations and balancing your emotions” as explained by Annabella Yosephine. A fitting comparison with the products on display on stage. As for Patricia Sunanto, her graduate collection “GYPSOPHILA’ reflecting the soft and delicate appearance of flowers. The garments are meant to represent a walk in a garden filled with tiny clouds of flowers. Ornamented with white flowers brocade and silver beadings.
Collections were perfectly suiting the theme and gave a great complement to the hair styling at the skilled hands of Mathew Johnson, Senior Art Director at MJ by Mat Johnson, and L’Oreal guest of honor for this exclusive event.
