OVERVIEW

The course grants students the creative and technical knowledge and skills needed to become a professional in the digital media design industry. Starting with the fundamental skills in graphic design and moving into the specialized digital media skills. Students can dive into the areas of UI and UX, mobile/web app development and virtual reality. Creating dynamic content with integrated programming capabilities enables graduates to step into the industry with confidence. Students are given the opportunity to research and innovate digital solutions in the aspects of culture, economics, and social integration.

ADVANCED DIPLOMA

Today, the digital media industry is increasingly competitive and ever-evolving with technological advancements. The integration of design thinking strategies enables students to manage the ideation process, design execution, to implementation. Given this, the Advanced Diploma in Digital Media Design program is structured with an emphasis on equipping students with industry-focused design knowledge and skillsets, as well as keeping them closely in touch with the technological development relevant to the ever-growing industry.

Some key areas covered in this course:

  1. User Interaction Design

  2. Creative Media (VR and AR)

  3. Screenplay and Storyboarding

  4. Digital Videography

  5. Motion Graphics and Effects

  6. Web Design​

The entire programme may be finished in 18 months (6 semesters).

BACHELOR (HONOURS)

Equipped with conceptual and technical skills, graduates from the Advanced Diploma will benefit from a top-up program, allowing further experimentation and implementation of ideas and exercising the entrepreneurship spirit throughout the studies. Students will further enhance their design thinking skills, which consolidate and extend from a systematic and coherent body of knowledge, which is crucial in the dynamic and ever-growing creative industry.
