OVERVIEW

Raffles Design Institute Jakarta aim to rise to the challenges and accept that different eras demand different values, skills, behaviours and competencies. As a premier higher education provider, we strive to lead in the development of creativity, design and management expertise to contribute to the development of society.


The Fashion Marketing and Management course enable students to acquire the fundamental thinking skills, understanding and knowledge critical to key fashion design and fashion business functions. At this stage students will develop a broad understanding of the field of fashion, marketing and management.


Throughout the programme, emphasis will be put on the fundamental conceptual abilities and aesthetic sensibilities of the students. The main objective of the programme is clearly about enabling students to develop basic tools that will be effectively used in the field of fashion marketing and brand management.

ADVANCED DIPLOMA

The fashion marketing and management programme provide students with the necessary skills to articulate fundamental knowledge and understanding of local and global fashion design processes. It enables students to apply and consolidate a broad range of information to specific tasks in fashion design.


Extend learning in diverse contextual frameworks is able to develop both visual and entrepreneurial ideas in the fashion environment, enabling our students to synthesize interdisciplinary approaches and hands-on skills for problem-solving in the fashion environment.

BACHELOR (HONOURS)

The Fashion Marketing and Management curriculum equips students with the necessary skills in demonstrating superior skills in multicultural communication, presentation and flexibilities in team work. The modules prepare students to formulate sophisticated and independent judgements and articulate reasoned arguments through reflection review and evaluation in planning and executing projects with high level of independence, research and organisational abilities.

 

Students are able to apply advanced principles and regulations governing the fashion environment, ethics and social responsibility as well as their underlying rationale, understanding both local and global fashion design processes.
